"Documenting Quebec's Abandoned Farmhouses" aims to immortalize the decaying farmhouses found in the province Patrick resides, through photographs. While travelling through Quebec, he noticed that there is a large number of farmhouses that are left abandoned or unused, some within populated areas and others in the middle of fields. Finding interest in exploring these buildings, they started to feel like time capsules as some still had tools within. Documenting the architectural style which is very common in this province as a way to ensure that they live on forever, even if the physical buildings collapse with time. This project was an Official Selection and was awarded an Honorable Mention in the 2023 International Photography Awards.
