12 imagesHis latest series "Yearning for the Light" is a study into the reflection of artificial light on snow and other surfaces. This interest came after noticing the beautiful contrast between the artificial light finding its way around the uneven texture of the snow and walls and the darkness surrounding it. The places with the most details and information is where there is light, leaving the other parts of the context, which are darker, allows the viewer to explore the entire scene. The title of this project comes from the fact that the areas that are lit up become a resting space for the viewer's eyes while they are exploring the rest of the image. This series is Patrick's first exploration into night photography, working with harsher contrast than in previously created ones. The series consists of 7 digital images.

His love of the pastel palette can be seen with his use of tones throughout the final work. Angles are extremely important in this series, as Patrick's goal was to show the buildings, some abandoned, in the best form.

11 images"a colourful world" is a project created by Patrick in 2021, throughout the lockdowns and restrictions linked to the pandemic. His goal with this project was to show the beauty of architecture when there is nobody in the city. Shooting buildings from straight in front, only showing one façade, limiting the context and surroundings visible around the architecture. His biggest inspiration for this project was American filmmaker Wes Anderson. This can be seen in his use of colour and composition.
